Did you know that in 2020, nearly 1 in 5 youth in our service area said that they are able to access prescription medications that are not prescribed to them? Proper prescription medication storage and disposal is an important part of preventing prescription medication misuse. It is for this reason that Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health has partnered with law enforcement agencies in Butler, Carter, Reynolds, Ripley, Stoddard, and Wayne Counties to make prescription drop boxes available to the public. This is a free service. If you have unwanted or expired medication, you may drop them off at any of the locations below:
